The Mars Planet Foundation stewards a list of scholarships that is growing every year. We proudly support, choose and award them to deserving Seniors who will be furthering their education in their chosen fields. We do this through our annual support of the Mars Area High School Academic Awards Ceremony.
To provide one Butler County Community College bound Mars Area High School Senior with a $1000 non-renewable scholarship to help defray costs of the first-year post-secondary education.
To provide a $2000 non-renewable scholarship to a Mars Area High School Senior currently enrolled in a Vocational-Technical Program who will be continuing their education in Heating/Cooling, Automotive Technology, Building Trades, Carpentry, Collision Repair, Heavy Equipment Repair or Welding.
To provide a $1000 non-renewable scholarship to a Mars Area High School Senior currently enrolled in a Vocational-Technical Program who will be continuing their education in automotive technology at an automotive trade school or similar institution/program.
The purpose of the Helen Werner Anderson scholarship is to honor hard-working college-bound students by helping them to get started towards a college degree. The $2000, one-year renewable scholarship, for one more year, can help you get started, then YOU take over and finish! Be a Helen! Do it!

school sport, with a $5000 non-renewable scholarship to help defray cost of the first-year post-secondary education.
To provide $1,000 non-renewable scholarship to a Mars Area High School student seeking post-secondary education in a STEM-related field that embodies Katie’s spirit of philanthropy, scholarship, compassion for others, and zest for life. Prior award winners are eligible to re-apply. Funds should be used to defray the cost of post-secondary-related expenses.
